Join the Pistachio Frequent Dining Rewards Program and be rewarded with gifts and automatic discounts on your dining. So, sign up an cash in. For each dollar you spend on food and drink at Pistachio, you will earn one point on your frequent diner account. These points can later be exchanged for a variety of rewards as specified in our REWARD RULES below.
We want to give our guests more than a “Thank You” when they leave. We want to give something more, particularly in these difficult economic times. That is why we created the Platinum Frequent Dining Rewards Program. This program is a way to show our appreciation.
As a Program member, every time you dine at Pistachio’s Bar & Grille, you will earn points redeemable for rewards. How you choose to redeem your points is totally up to you. You can redeem them for a discount on your dining check or you can let them accumulate to get greater rewards.
The more often you dine with us, the faster your points accumulate. This program allows us to show our appreciation and we hope it will bring you in more often to enjoy our food, drink, atmosphere and conviviality while you accumulate more points for more rewards.
We have tried to make earning and redeeming points as easy as possible. In order to receive points (and bonus points and free gifts) you must enroll in the program and receive a membership account number (we have to know who to give the points to and have a record of your accumulations). After signing up, you will receive a personalized membership card in the mail. Use it when you come for your next meal, your check will show a tally of your accumulated reward points.
So, if you want to redeem points for Pistachio Discounts (provided you already have accumulated the necessary 300 points for the $15 discount) just tell your server, give her your frequent diner card, and the amount will be deducted from your check. Remember, discounts are based on $300 increments of accumulated points. For larger rewards, other arrangements will have to be made with our Manager.
To have an effective program, we must have some rules. We try to keep them simple so it will be easy to understand.
OFFICAL RULES OF THE PLATINUM FREQUENT DINER REWARDS PROGRAM
Join our Platinum Frequent Diner Rewards and earn one point for each dollar you spend on food and beverage purchases;
We will keep track of your points for you and you will receive a summary of your points on the bottom of your check each time you make a purchase;
We will give you a $15 awards voucher when you have earned 300 points;
We will give you a $10 awards voucher for your birthday after reaching 500 points if you are an active member for more than three consecutive months;
We will give you a free appetizer or a dessert if you come 5 times within the first month after joining. This is in addition to points earned each time you come for dinner or lunch;
No purchase is necessary to receive a Frequent Diner Rewards card. Just fill out the form on line and you will receive the card within 10 days. The card will contain your account number. At this time, there is no charge for joining our deep discount and rewards program;
The card will be activated on first use. Previous purchases will not accumulate points. Points will only be issued on the day of the purchase;
Cards may be used to earn points only. It is not a credit card and has no cash value;
Cards must be presented with each purchase to receive one point for each dollar of purchase. Points are awarded for purchases only and not for the redemption of Gift Certificates, Freebies or promotional cards or discounts;
Points are for all food & beverage purchases but are not for promotional offers or discounted Gift card purchases. It is understood that State law may now or in the future prohibit accumulation of points for purchases of alcohol;
Points are not awarded on gratuities, taxes, discounts, redeemed gift certificates, or other offers;
Reward points are not transferable. Member’s Frequent Diner Membership Card must be presented with payment of the check and will only be awarded if ID or credit card matches the member’s ID; Cards must be presented before payment is made;
Members dining without their Rewards Card will not be issued points unless they return with the receipt and a memo from the manager on duty. No points will be issued without a receipt;
A member’s account will become inactive after 3 months of inactivity. In addition, all accumulated points will be reset to zero on the date of anniversary of enrollment. To reactivate an account if a card has not been used for three months, simply use the card at your next meal;
Pistachio Bar & Grille is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail containing award vouchers, birthday vouchers or special offers;
Pistachio reserves the right to discontinue membership privileges and void a members point balances if any unauthorized points are awarded or redeemed or if fraud us suspected;
Pistachio’s employees, affiliates and immediate families are not eligible to participate in the Frequent Diner Rewards program;
Pistachio Bar & Grille reserves the right to change or discontinue this program at any time;
It is understood that accumulated points are not the member property and may be revoked, cancelled, limited or modified at any time, even though such action may effect the member’s right to use previously accumulated points;
Members agree to check the website of Pistachio’s Bar & Grille and understand that the rules of the Program in effect may contain changes. The posted rules will be the authoritative statement in effect at the time and continued participation in the program constitutes consent to such changes;
Member’s agree that the filing out and submission of the application constitutes consent and agreement to all provisions and conditions specified on the website;
Points for parties of over $1000 or gift certificates over this amount will only be issued to active members. An active member is someone with a minimum of 300 accumulated points and has used the card within the past three months;
Corporate Gift Card Purchases are usually eligible for a different awards program and are not included in the Frequent Diner Rewards Program. The program is for individual use only, for one individual per account. Spouses are encouraged to apply for their own account and card.
Priority Seating is a bonus giving to our Platinum Frequent Dining Program member. This allows us to seat you rapidly when you arrive at the restaurant and to expedite your order for faster service.

SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many points do I need to earn a Frequent Diner Reward?
You need at least 300 points to earn a $15 reward. In addition, as a present for joining the program Pistachio will give you a free appetizer or dessert after you have been a guest for 5 lunch or dinner visits after joining the program. That is, in to addition the points you earn by buying your food and drinks. You must maintain 300 points after joining to keep an active membership. An active member is one who has earned a minimum of 300 points and maintains this minimum. And, you must not let your membership lapse for more than three months to avoid account suspension in order to be eligible for our continuous discounts and promotions. To maintain your membership after being given the initial award of $15, subsequent purchases will keep your account active and generate more points for further awards. For every 300-point increment you will be awarded a $15 Dining award. Or, you can save your points for other exciting rewards.
So, just for joining and visiting us you get:
In addition to points for each dollar spent, a free appetizer or dessert after making 5 lunch or dinner purchases;
A Birthday voucher mailed to you for a birthday entrée after being an active member for 3 months;
A $15 discount at your request to be applied to your check after you have reached your qualifying 300 basis points and for each 300 point increment thereafter; or
A discount voucher at your request for some of our larger rewards on our list of other awards.
How much does it cost to enroll in the Frequent Dining Program?
Absolutely nothing. At least for a few months while we kick up the program. You will be considered a VIP Charter member. After the program is up and running there will be a charge for joining the program for new members. Not for the original program members.
Most programs at other restaurants do have a signup charge which is usually credited to food purchases. Pistachio will not be doing that at this time.
Do I earn points on tax and tips?
No. Points are earned on food and drinks only.
Do rewards expire?
Yes and No. Your rewards will remain intact for a full year. After your enrollment anniversary date, the points will reset and you will start again.
Do I earn points dependent on the form of check payment?
No. Cash, checks or acceptable credit cards earn the same number of points;
Can I earn points when paying for a meal with a Pistachio Gift Card?
No. Reward points are given for purchases only, not for redemptions.
Do I earn points for Gift Card purchases?
Yes, most of the time. Points are not given for Holiday Gift Card purchases and certain promotional gift card dates.
Can I earn points for group events at Pistachio’s?
Yes, of course. If you are having a party or an employment function just give your rewards card to your server and ask her to apply any eligible sum you want from your accumulated points. Remember, points are issued only to the individual paying the check and the person paying the check must have an ID that matches the account number of the Frequent Diner Program member.
What if I want to go to dinner with another Platinum Frequent Diner Rewards Member and I want to pay for the whole bill. Can I have the points divided between my dining companion and me?
Yes, but both must be Platinum Frequent Dining Program Members and the account numbers and the credit card’s must be in the name of the participants.
Can I earn points on the entire check if I take someone to dinner and we split the bill?
No. You earn points on the whole purchase if you pay for the entire purchase. You can earn points on that part for which you are paying
and the credit card name matches the frequent Diner Account member’s name.
What if I send a family member to the restaurant? Can they redeem rewards with my card?
Sure. Provided you make prior arrangements with the manager and have them bring your rewards card with them (and some form of ID)
What if I lose my Frequent Dining Card and someone uses it to redeem my reward points. Can I still redeem my points?
No. We cannot be responsible for lost cards any more than we can for the cash in a lost wallet. So, remember to report a lost card so your account can be deactivated.
If I come in and have dinner but forget my card, can I still earn reward points?
Yes, but you must come in with the receipt and the membership card so we can post the purchase to your account.
Can I earn points for previous purchases?
The rate of earning points is on an annual spending basis. It reverts back on your enrollment anniversary date.
Yes.
For our Frequent Diner Member we offer special priority seating. This allows you to be seated quickly. In order to take advantage of this special benefit, and keep your wait time to a minimum, it is best to make a reservation beforehand. However, if you wish to do spur of the moment dining, just call us 20 minutes before you wish to arrive and you will be seated when you tell the host or hostess of you arrival.
